Hazuki Hirano is an emerging artist with a growing presence on the opera stage and in concert halls across Europe and Japan. Her recent engagements include the roles of Dorabella (Così fan tutte), La Badessa and La Suora Zelatrice (Suor Angelica), as well as Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi).
Her repertoire includes roles such as 2.Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Flora (La Traviata) and so on.

She has also appeared as a soloist in numerous concerts, such as Mozart’s Requiem in Musikverein Wien, and in Kraków, Beethoven’s Symphony No.9, and in Tokyo Händel’s Messiah.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Opera at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where she studies with Prof. C.Meier, Prof. R.Schwab, and Prof. E. Lienbacher. Previously, she studied under Prof. Masako Teshima at the Tokyo University of the Arts, where she was awarded the prestigious Emerald Award. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Tokyo Gakugei University.

Sie is participating in the Heidelberger Frühling Liedacademy 2025/26.

Her vocal artistry has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Winner’s Prize at the Tama-Fresh Competition and the Tokyo International Vocal Music Competition. She is a recipient of the Fukushima Scholarship for overseas studies and the Munetsugu Angel Fund scholarship for outstanding music students.

Her versatility and expressive mezzo-soprano voice continue to draw attention, particularly in opera, Lied and oratorio, where she brings both musical depth and emotional clarity.
